So ASUS have come back and they have spoken with the Chipset Venodor, they have agreed that SNR has changed to 15 dB
A new firmware below with the adjustments to try for the DSL-AC51 only – if feedback is positive, the change will be made to other MediaTek based modem/routers also in future firmware’s for other models
(factory reset advisable)
I have made the firmware only available for members to download, as this is a test firmware version.

As this is test beta , factory reset and set for Turkey via QiS and see if this is more stable – not sure if SNR can be adjusted but higher SNR will provide better stability.

9.1.2.3_960-g795fbf6 i installed and started to test. The first problem that caught my attention is the late connection problem. While I didn’t get a CRC error in the first 10 minutes in old versions, I got 2 CRC errors in the first 15 minutes. I’ll write again in 24 hours, but this lag issue is annoying. It was connected to the internet in exactly 4 minutes and 2 seconds..
