I use 960 firmware and this firmware force SNR at 15dB. But it slowed down my connection speed. Then I set it to 9 dB. 48 hours passed and 159 crc occurred.  I didn’t have much of a problem with crc anyway. My problem is ipv6 tests fail. Maybe because of the iss maybe because of the firmware. I do not know. So far, the normal and beta firmware versions have all failed.

My ISS recommends the firmware on this page for ipv6. This is an official page but you said before that AC51_9.1.2.3_ipv6_05.trx” firmware is not approved. That’s why I never installed it. Should i try?

I have set the necessary settings but it fails the tests. I am having trouble accessing some websites. Router gets ip6, the computer does too. I don’t understand, so I turned it off from the settings. In fact, if I could try with a different modem, it would be clear where the problem came from.

so i dont use ipv6. Some applications dont work when active ipv6. Ex; Matriks. Nowly, go ahead use to ipv4

 

tr: ben de o yüzden kullanmıyorum ipv6yı. Bazı uygulamalar çalışmıyor ıpv6 aktif olunca(turknet kullanıyorum). En çok ihtiyacım olan matriks uygulaması veri akışını kesiyor. Şimdilik ıpv4 devam.

Hi guys, I am using DSL AC-750 with 790 firmware. I dont have any problems but Asus has to release a new official firmware. Latest official firmware is very buggy so many customers have problems.

Yes, Mediatek DSL modems are buggy.  v1.1.2.3_858 firmware is latest stable release but this firmware’s dsl driver is not working properly. Customers have too many crc errors and this version is factory firmware. If you buy a new DSL AC 750 or etc., this buggy firmware comes pre-installed.

As I thought, back in November last year, I asked ASUS if they intend to update stock firmware’s for the DSL-AC51 and simular ?

We have no plan to release official firmware for these models. Only beta firmware will be provided.

I assume it is due to ASUS not selling many of these models anymore and they are not expensive, so not a good profit margin in 2022  ?
