ok, did (again) the upgrade to the new firmware, factory reset, re-paired base and satelite.
results :
- still interuptions when streaming video from nas
- still interuptions when doing remote desktop session to server
- still interuptions when using teams
back to the ‘safe’ 42095 firmware for me.

Installed the new firmware via gui (without factory reset).
The problem I had with previous firmware arose again : interuptions when streaming video content from nas to PC. (NAS is hardwired with base station. PC is hardwired on satelite station on first floor of the house. Base and satelite station are connected with 5ghz wifi backhaul).
I am unable to watch a movie without video cutting of. Strangely enough, interuptions occurs when a familymember with iphone moves from first floor to ground floor or other way around. Somehow moving other wifi devices interferes with video stream? happens with or without activating adaptive QOS.
I’ve reverted back to the “safe” 3.0.0.4.386.42095, where I never had this problem.
guess i’ll stick to 42095 for me.
Would a factory reset influence this behaviour? If so, when do you suggest doing the factory reset : before or after upgrading the firmware?

still find it fishy that the stable firmware 3.0.0.4.386.42095 is about 72.5 mbytes and the newly released 3.0.0.4.386.45898 is 55.65 mbytes.
Where’s the difference?
will wait a bit, until some volunteers try the new firmware out, and post their feedback

@Dodgydrains : so, what you are saying is :
- first install the beta firmware
- then re-install official 43181 firmware over beta firmware
and this should resolve the disconnect issue? Correct?
