I used it for several days (591) with AiProtection on, and the ram increases by 9Mb every day.
I put the D7000 V1 back, with the Ancistrus mod firmware it has the QOS up / dow working and many other new features.
Asus’ technicians could take a look at it, since they have the same chipset.

I did some tests and as soon as it connects to the internet after a while the ram rises to 55% and AIProtection works without problems.
TrendMicro through this site (https://success.trendmicro.com/solution/1056027-testing-the-web-reputation-feature-in-officescan-osce) provides fake links with a low reputation and if AIProtection works regularly they are blocked.

P.S. As for the CPU, what is the maximum temperature? currently mine is at 64 ° C with an ambient temperature of 22 ° C, in summer it is over 30 ° C.

To make sure that AIP is active, you need to know a site classified “dangeorus” (https://global.sitesafety.trendmicro.com/) and do some tests.

EDIT:

I have found on the TrendMicro website some test web addresses, classified as dangerous and are blocked with active AIProtection.I’ll be away for a few weeks and I can not do the various tests.

What is the normal use of RAM with Aiprotection active and just switched on?
My just turned on is 42% (it seems to me low), but if I deactivate / reactivate it goes to 55 – 60%.

Hi all guys, just bought and updated to the latest firmware 591 debug the ADSL-AC88U.
I have some doubts.
Is normal not it shown in the System Log when you log in to the webui and all of AiProtection’s actions ?
I need to be able to access the webui remotely, since I will only connect with a static IP address, to increase security I want to use the function “Allow only specified IP” but only accepts IP addresses of my LAN 192.168.1.XXX.
