Cheers, Steve

Hi @Xevian
Email sent about firmware and usual ASUS Beta T&C’s apply, see top of forum
FYI : The firmware used by the DSL-AC88U is not created by ASUS, so what works (code) for ASUSWRT may not work on the DSL-AC88U
Enjoy

August 13, 2021 at 5:12 pm #14684Thank you! Got it and telneted in okay! I’ll pop this here before I bother starting an new thread (as I may just replace the router anyhow at this stage) it seems that /usr/sbin/chat doesn’t exist on it! so that would explain my problem, and don’t see how any mobile dongle would work on that firmware as it is! any ideas?

<Come funziona DSL-AX82U per te?in my VDSL, the DSL 88U is better, the old Broadcom chipset aligns with a higher carrier, I point out that I am over 600 meters from the ONUCab, I have a 35b profile, to have the same speed I have to force the SNR to -2db, with the risk of switching to the profile SoS, 12 DB (Save Our Showtime).
Otherwise it is a good modem wifi 6 I cannot test it I don’t have other devices of the same type.
Excuse my English,Bye
