Big improvements in line synch rate and no CRC’s, try not to reboot DSL-AX82U as this can cause issues with line synch rate (speed) as cabinet thinks issue with line and may increases interleaving and reduces synch rate (speed) etc.
If you leave alone for a week and let us know if synch rate changes after 7 days ?
Hopefully no rain in next 7 days

November 25, 2022 at 3:22 pm #21837Thanks! I’ll let you know after 7 days. I don’t think it will get affected by rain in short term, but in 6-12 months I expect it to cause some issues.

Hey,
The values were same for 5 days. But I had a different problem, modem restarted itself for no reason. There are some logs about the qos, I sent a feedback to asus with full logs. I’m using the adaptive qos feature. Maybe I should try the merlin for QoS:
https://gnuton.github.io/asuswrt-merlin.ng/
Here are the logs:

December 1, 2022 at 4:59 am #21895probable the same issue will be with @GNUton also – has the line synch rate remained good after reboot ?
Maybe just a one-time problem, if it happens again then we know it is more important problem .

December 1, 2022 at 1:03 pm #21897Yeah it is good after the restart. I get 2-3 crc per hour which can be caused by the part of the old line they did not replace.
One thing I noticed is when it is night snr margin drops to 13.1 and jumps back to 13.6 after morning every day. Something probably interferes with the signal. It is not the street lamp that close to my cable because it drops hours after lights on. It does not affect my speed but an interesting thing.
I’m also trying to get fiber connection to my house from my neighbors backyard (his road has the fiber line, since he permits it isp will provide a gpon to me if I pay the costs) so hopefully I will not need the old cable anymore but we will see.

SNR can change a little during the day and night so not uncommon but great news about possible fiber connection in the future and should be much better than you current DSL line

December 29, 2022 at 10:23 pm #22103It tells me I don’t have an Internet, so some features are disabled. I can send this message, I have an Internet, :) The beta didn’t have this problem, but it did occur in the full release.
I can’t access my Internet through the access point that I put upstairs in addition to the ones above

December 29, 2022 at 10:36 pm #22106December 29, 2022 at 11:13 pm #22108When I returned to the old beta software, the problem persisted again.
The problem starts when IPv6 is turned on, I turned off this feature and it was fixed. You need to login in order to vote

December 30, 2022 at 2:35 pm #22110December 30, 2022 at 2:47 pm #22114I set it up again by taking it to the factory settings, there is a problem.
If you start a new thread, we can work through a few options and I will plug in my DSL-AX82U tonight and see if there are any issues with IPv6 from my connection ?
