Oh ok, so instead of selecting 20,40,80mhz. I just choose 80mhz only? Also unclick auto channel dfs?
Yes, Firmware 22525 is good, but still a little buggy with AiMesh Wifi backhaul stability

March 19, 2023 at 12:06 pm #23057So sorry for the mix up. Yes, itโs Asus zenwifi AX XT8. Oh ok, so instead of selecting 20,40,80mhz. I just choose 80mhz only? Also unclick auto channel dfs? thanks a lot! Will try these! More power to you! Great help!
It really also depends on your location and RADAR detection in your area.ย For me, on 22525 I just set it to 160MHz and it hasn’t had any major issues in 32-33 days uptime.ย In previous 388.xxxxx FW the wireless backhaul lost connection after 5-7 days for me.

March 19, 2023 at 12:38 pm #23059Nice. I have an option to use 160mhz solo too? Great! If this current 80mhz setup fails, iโll try your suggestion. Thanks a lot!

March 19, 2023 at 5:48 pm #23115Experiencing the same loss of connectivity as before with 3.0.0.4.388_22525
Very strange, I can access the router via IP address but not http://www.asusrouter.com
I can ping IP addresses from the router network tools, but cannot connect to any web pages from wired or wireless devices.
I can still surf normally through my connected VPN, but if I disconnect the VPN, it will not reconnect and if I disconnect from wired or wireless connection, devices will not reconnect.
Nothing unusual leading up to the loss of connectivity event.
It seems like DNS and DHCP are crashing, but nothing at all in the logs.
Power cycle resolves.

March 19, 2023 at 7:58 pm #23122That is most odd, can you send a feedback form and mention in comments box ‘UK Sentinel’ I can then touch base with ASUS and ask them to have a look

I’m not aware of anything maxing out. I’ve attached a screenshot of the current status.

Is that at the Piccadilly Theatre?ย I work nearby in Victoria Street.
Hope you enjoyed the theatre.ย There are some lovely eateries in Denman Street.ย Very expensive though.

That is probably why your free RAM is lower than mine from the start.ย Hopefully UK Sentinel can help explain the logs when he is back.
