yes, i resetted to factory reset with reset button. i use snr margin 5db. I was also using snry 5db in firmware version 959 but I was seeing 24 max 60-70 crc function on it. I just made new settings and 2 crc errors occurred in 30 minutes. Let’s see, after 24 hours, I will write the full results, it seems that there is no problem at the moment.

If you still have high CRC’s maybe worth looking at setting your QoS to 85% of your synch rate to see if that helps reduce CRC’s etc ?

What does CRC have to do with QoS?
CRC happens on the modulated line independent of load or whatever has to be transmitted.

I dont say that there cant be an effect but I only want to understand why this could happen or how it may be relevant and related to CRC.
Possibly chip doesnt work correctly on high load I could assume.

Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) Error indicates when data is corrupted which can be caused by any number of factors.

MediaTeK based modems suffer from High U1 U2 and D1 D2 frequency issues and by reducing frequencies, this can help reduce CRC and FEC etc.

But, this can also be achieved in part by limiting synch rate, which inturn ensure cab/modem does not run at full synch rate.

Another option is to force SNR to a higher value as SNR is Signal to Noise Ratio – in other words a measurement in decibels of the Signal strength to the level of Noise on the line.

QoS to a degree can reduce FEC and CRC by not allowing full data transmission which can overcome errors/issues/congestion on the line/cab etc.

Trail and error I am afraid

I dont see any differences while my modems are in sync with no load or full load.

CRC and/or FEC counters will be at the same level all the time.

So I think this might be something specific for special chips/modems.
Of course SNR and used frequencies have direct dependencies to signal quality and so transmission errors.

My settings is on the screenshot. I’m getting really good performance with this settings. You can change dB value as higher if you don’t have a stable connection. In addition, If you use 5Ghz Use 40mhz because  I got disconnect problem with 80mhz, but 40mhz is perfect for 5GHz.
