With that amount of errors, I would say yes old phone is still in,

BTW- I have noticed with my shiny new MK4 Face Plate, It is more sensitive to errors than my previous MK3

On which modem? If you put cap on hg612 recently it will be removed once modem is rebooted. If you still on 35Mb after hg612 is rebooted than is banded profile set by DLM.

I think next step was suggested already couple of times, we need to see how line will perform with telephone disconnected. There is a burst of errors every day (I think was afternoon) on @Bully line. Once face plate was changed the FEC errors was under control, kind of. Now with snr 8db he still getting bunch of them (where should get barely any) , and DLM consider these with his decisions.
