April 13, 2020 at 8:56 am #6402Interleaving on both Up and Down and loss of 2 Mbps – will be interesting to see what it does tomorrow and the day after?
Edit: if still no better , try changing bitswap to Off – trial and error unfortunately

“vdsl optn bitswap bi 1 off”

April 13, 2020 at 8:10 pm #6403I notice that on my vigor 2760 (also old eci modem) after reboot bitswap are not on immediately, usualy upstream within an hour downstream up to 3 hours.
When I used modem with broadcom chipset bitswap was on immediately after reboot.

Thanks for info, is your Exchange/ DSLAM ECI and bitswap is On in both direction (eventually) ?In a completely sane world, madness is the only freedom (J.G.Ballard).

April 14, 2020 at 5:37 pm #6415When you playing up with vdsl snr make sure you reboot your modem otherwise it will report negative values like on your CRC – 1,this is incorrect and can cause higher interleave (at least did for me until I realised). Even that you change snr values and you back to stock settings, modem need to be rebooted. Not sure if that is not the case why you don’t have any errors reported on upstream, there should be at least single values.
Can you also do “vdsl status bandinfo”
Edit
Should be together “bandinfo”

April 14, 2020 at 6:21 pm #6417I have not adjusted any snr value.

April 14, 2020 at 6:51 pm #6418April 14, 2020 at 7:38 pm #6419Just want to add, if there was changes made in settings, bitswap may not turn on until modem is rebooted. Instead of messing around with settings I will power down for solid 10 mins, disconnect all cables also unplug telephone cable (if on filtered faceplate), and after 10 min plug all back in. All should be O.K and bitswap should kick in.
