I think you may be right on the wifi throughput as the problem. My thinking is on the upload side?
The only thing I turn on is ‘Time Scheduling’ under ‘Parental Controls’. Nothing is turned on in AiProtection.
I also tested with the beta 46197 which has all AiProtection disabled and it is the same issue.
If testing at the main XT8 gives worse bufferbloat than at the node, then the most logical conclusion from me is as you say throughput related. My max speed at the 4th node is 540/525Mbps up/down and at the main XT8 is much higher, closer to 840/880Mbps up/down.
The issue is the same on node number 2 which is closest to the main XT8, at this node the speed is over 650/650Mbps up/down and also worse bufferbloat than the furthest away node.
Find it puzzling and interesting…..

The original test was at close proximity to the main unit on Wifi 6 with an android phone.

I am using Lenovo laptop on Windows 11.
My connection seems fine other than what the tests show. Just weird that the test results went down after upgrading to 1Gb.

These are the settings on the 5GHz-1 which I use for Wi-Fi including for testing.

Tried that last night and looks like it’s a WiFi thing.
With the laptop, ethernet was ‘A’ testing with both Waveform and DSLreports but far worse over WiFi than with my phone.
I then turned on QoS and set it to Web Surfing and that improved it over WiFi to A on my phone but took a hit on speedtest.

No packet loss, also tested with cmd.

Yes, on the new package from Hyperoptic.
I see, QoS at 1Gb should really be tuned off ?
I haven’t turned it on at all

So 42095 also had high buffer-bloat ?
Yes, on the new package from Hyperoptic. Plus I have not turned on QoS, it has not been toggled on.

I have not changed anything is QoS, not sure if @jonathanmorris has set it to something.
When I was on the 500Mb package the bufferbloat on dslreport was A and A+. Only change is the package is now upgraded to 1Gb. Tested by downgrading to 42095, same thing. Seems like default QoS may be my issue with 1Gb?

I noticed something that seems a bit weird to me recently.
Whilst testing for bufferbloat it looks like it is higher at the main XT8 than the nodes, even testing one furthest away was better than the main unit.
I used the following sites and got similar results:
https://www.waveform.com/tools/bufferbloat
http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest
Could it be because the speed at the main node is higher, which is why bufferbloat is more prevalent on it? Bufferbloat seems to shows up on the upload on the main unit.

Just tried some Android apps after installing Google Play Store, mostly working without any issues. Used the following video which was quite easy to follow, if anyone is interested:

Just went to YouTube and that video came up. It just worked
