Ebuyer, like many other PC retailers have been struggling a lot after the pandemic. Amazon continues to gobble up that sector of the market. Huge shame as I used to buy many of my PC parts from Ebuyer. It seems like only Amazon will remain standing at the end.

Just enter your postcode and... #40421I have been using the following link:
https://www.openreach.com/fibre-checker
It states full fibre build will start next year in my area.
This will mean even greater competition with Hyperoptic, Community Fibre and VM already available now.

Looks like quite a few security updates in this latest FW release and the update is aligned with the FW release for the BQ16 Pro.

Why did they make it such a pain?
I will just try to avoid rebooting

After each update or reboot, why does it ask for a certificate to be installed to access the web GUI? It looks like a new certificate is needed after every reboot. Is there a way to stop this?

October 17, 2025 at 1:25 am in reply to: WIFI 7 Hi, See Asus have WIFI 7 now on newer model, when do you expect devices will go WIFI 7? i.e laptops or phones/tablets? Next iteration due this year? Kev #39841. kev2021 Said:Seen some more wifi7 routers now, any further thoughts or still not worth changing yet?
Kev
I have both wifi 6 and wifi 7 devices. When connecting to the wifi 7 BQ16 routers, I am finding that even my wifi 6 devices have faster speeds than when they were connected to the xt8 wifi 6 routers.
The prices of wifi 7 routers are still stubbornly high even after 2 years.

I was getting similar wired speeds with the Linksys too. But with the BQ16 I get those speeds wireless too.
