I’m 400 metrs from exchange and under 100 meters from cabinet in the street 😁 so I do hope for fast patch on ECI cabinet. I did wrote in previous post tah in over a week time I have around 140k fec errors on eci modem.

I noticed you Attenuation was low (lucky chap) , hence good synch. maybe worth giving your ISP a call and see if they can find any errors with your line ? I have emailed ASUS so will let you know about unlocked Firmware.

What is yors fec stats and how long took for you to go on fast patch?

I’m on 591. Not sure what FEC is? Hehehe. If you tell me then I can tell you. It seems pretty fast to me. Faster than my IP says it should be :-)

Sorry – also went onto fast immediately. I’m with talktalk in the UK. The cabinet is literally outside my house and the exchange is only a few hundred meters away. May explain things!

No Problem, on your original DSL screen dump, about two items below is FEC, what is the values ?

FEC is Forward Error Corrections. In simple terms: line errors between the modem/router and the exchange/DSLAM that were corrected. Generally these are unnoticeable… unless they become really high. And by high, I mean roughly above 10000 over a period of 15 minutes.

I already spoke with my provider (EE), I suspected that there is a cap on my line because on the beginning I was able to go above 65Mb/s now I just kick in 60Mb/s, so they told me that there is no any cap on my line and they try to feed me with bu… t about 10 days training period where on other forum BTOR engineer confirmed that there is no such thing on Vdsl, yes it was on ADSL.

Of course I didn’t help for DLM by reseting modem few times, and now when I see milion of FEC errors I’m pretty sure there is no hope for better sync speed unless I have telnet unlocked, then I can try solution from other forum, which works with modem on BCM chipset and ECI cabinet.

It says in your screenshot Modem Vendor ID Infineon.  The DSL-AC88U has a Broadcom modem, or am I reading this wrong?

The Double reference to Infineon is in reference to Cab/Exchange, nothing to do with the ASUS Broadcom Modem chipset – but it is a little confusing at first glance.
