what’s your Full Charge Capacity and Design Capacity values ?

i would avoid any third party battery .. because they do have …issues like they don’t last long after charging , charging takes alot time , sometimes battery software installed by Laptop OEM don’t accept it etc etc
so before u decide if u need new battery ..
look what’s your battery wear level 1st ?
1) – search of command prompt -> right click , run it as admin –> than type ” powercfg /batteryreport ” ( without Quotation ) –> report will be generated
2) – look at the location where battery reported generated ( usually generated in user folder )
3) – In report scroll down and under Installed Batteries take values of Design Capacity and Full Charge Capacity
4) – now take values .. and calculate{(Full Charge Capacity / Design Capacity) x 100} -100 = wear level of battery
or
u can use -> https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/battery_information_view.htmldepending on how much wear level is …
1) – u can calibrate your battery , check if some software is running in background taking full processing power and discharging it fast , set power saver option when running laptop on battery2) – if above not works .. than u can go ahead and buy new genuine battery
or any u likeavoid a cheap, counterfeit, or improperly designed battery to be safe

I agree .. no major update for Netgear XR500 in last 11 Months

DSL Products – i wonder reason of lack of support from manufacturer is no binaries from chipset manufacturer ? + ASUS don’t see much future in DSL based products when future is based on fiber optic ? so investing huge in R&D of DSL would not generate enough profits for them compare to number of DSL units sold …..
+ OEM modem manufacturer ISP select’s are already providing ok connection to majority of ISP users ?Note: This Is Personal Opinion

Merlin firmware 384.15 use GPL of ASUS RT-AX88U for firmware 3.0.0.4.384.7756 .. which is old ..
currently everything is working fine for you ..so there is no need to jump on new aplha firmware ..unless you feel something is not running correctly as per your needs

( lets say your playing games or doing latency sensitive work …. during that time .. somebody starts downloading or uploading photos or videos or watching netflix .. with QOS on you will see increase of 6ms+ with QOS off you will see increase of 50ms+ depending on load … through i can be wrong testing is only way to be sure :D )

The difference between these two measurements is also called “bufferbloat”. ) …
you can know about buffer bloat – https://www.bufferbloat.net/projects/bloat/wiki/Introduction/
Merlin Frimware have better QoS Queue Disciplines built in like -> fq_codel
but since you don’t use QOS ..you can try ASUS stock

but on 3.0.0.4.384_7968 , there is a issue with QOS Bandwidth limiter .. where on Wi-Fi upload is not limited by QOS :)
what’s your buffer bloat result ? ( wifi and hardwired )

today i have tested ASUS Stock 3.0.0.4.384.6436 where i was unable to disable PMF even after selecting disable and apply it reverts back to capable
@Grisu – yes your right , issue’s are with stock firmwarei really hope asus will provide stable firmware next year

ASUS Stock 3.0.0.4.384.6436 where it’s changed ..because of push towards WPA3 and OFDMA …. when you enable WPA3 ..you will need Protected Management Frames Enable/ Capable .. ( through in 384.6436 WP384.6436 WPA3 and OFDMA was not shown as options )
it’s weird that you were not able to save disable option maybe GUI bug … ( through you should report PMF issue to ASUS by feedback form on your router that your phone get very slow speed when PMF is Enable or Capable on 5GHz ….. because WIFI stuff is closed source and fully controlled by ASUS …. )

802.11ax/ Wi-fi 6 mode -> Enable
WPA Encryption – AES
Authentication Method – WPA2 Personal
Protected Management Frames – Capable ( on previous firmware it was disable )

i might think 2.4ghz might be culprit lol , i have hardly ever tested 5ghz device on 2.4 ghz …. but i use smart connect .. so it auto connect to 2.4 ghz or 5ghz as per situation
u can also try moving to 40Mhz Channel on 2.4 Ghz and see if speed increase
oron 5ghz professional settings .. enable Multi user MIMO , 802.11AC Beam forming .. than reboot and connect those device on 5ghz and check speed ?
i would prefer moving to 5ghz channel because it got most bandwidth available with less interference …….
PCE-AC68 is 3×3 stream device = 1,300 Mbps is max it will get at 80Mhz channel bandwidth which is good and according to expectation

( name G6 . V30 , android )
connect them to 5Ghz ? and speed test ? ( also use static channel number between 36 to 48 or 149+ ) and if there is issue test it on 80MHz bandwidth .. ( 160MHz use DFS soo sometimes connectivity issue comes up with some devices .. where SSID not showing etc etc )
————————————————————————————
G6 is 2 Streams but it seems to be connected at 1 streams = max link speed will be 433Mbps on 5GhzV30 is connected at 2 streams = so max link speed will 866Mbps on 5Ghz
android i cant say by name but connected at 1 stream = so max speed link speed will be 433Mbps on 5Ghz
————————————————————————–
here in 5Ghz AC Wave 21 stream = 1×1 MIMO = 433Mbps
2 Streams = 2×2 MIMO = 433Mbps x 2 = 866Mbps2×2 AC device @ 80MHz @ channel 36 = 866Mbps = 216.5 Mbps x 4 20MHz channels comb (36 ,40 , 44 , 48 )
2×2 AC device @ 160MHz @ channel 36 = 1,732 Mbps =2165.5 Mbps x 8 20MHz channels comb ( 36, 40, 44 , 48 and DFS channel 52, 56, 60, 64 )please correct me if i’m wrong

i have HTC U11 which use same SOC and max out over 300Mbps + speed
login to router , click on system log –> wireless log
post screenshot of that ? ( hide MAC address and device that are not having issue before posting )
also i want to ask which site are u using to test speedtest.net ? or fast.com ?
