If someone can enter your network on LAN he will automatically get an IP from DHCP of your modem and so he will know the subnet as well.
This really makes no sense, not to me nor to others working with networks. That is why most users (>>99%) will use what modem sets by default.
Some operators like mine for example use 10.0.0.x (but only reason for that because for business customers they need larger subnets). You need to login in order to vote
Same with me, would never use other accounts to login in a forum.
Even avoid pages if possible where this is mandatory (dont have fb/twitter at all, only google from mobile where it is a must have). You need to login in order to vote
What do you think could be more secure useing a different subnet range?
Private IPs are not reachable outside your network either, so it just makes absolutely no difference which one you take, 192.168, 172.16-31 and 10.x.x.x are equally secure.
Of course you can use larger subnets than /24 if needed, but there is no other aspect to may be considered!
Your public IP will always be NATted to whatever your private subnet uses.

Never made thoughts about that, the essential that they work well for me when dry or wet.
And never forget to put some grease on the backside making things much easier next time.I probably would take bremo as well, if they were more common here.
You will get pros and cons for both depending who you are asking.
Lay back and keep cool, they will do their job quite similarly. You need to login in order to vote
Try to deactivate Teredo-filter and activate it a minute later again.
Maybe this solves your problem.

You can do it if you have a pro key from any Win7 upto 11.
Could be done with some registry keys and inplace upgrade with iso (if I remember correctly).
Did it once for a friend long time ago to run RDP (Win Remote Desktop) which is only part of pro version (for other direction home might be enough). To be found on above forum too (eventually a bit hard for you

Depends on your provider how TV is supported to your line.
When I want to use TV from my operator it is done only with a special config, which is automatically downloaded to router via ACS (provider server for configuring modems through TR-069).
To do so I need to set factory defaults and it will connect to the server after line-sync and change config.
Otherwise I can manually configure internet-access, but cant configure separate VLAN ID and some other stuff (I even dont know whatever) to modem on my own.
Here in Austria even telephony via operator needs to be set by provider config as it is not running through IP datastream but in different priorized VLAN.
If I port my fixed net telephone number to an alternativ provider there wont be a problem to set up manually, as it will use ordiniary inband VoIP connection. As I dont use IPTV I prefer manual config. Sorry that I cant help any more with your IPTV, dont know how it is done in UK or especially with your IPTV provider.

And if you use preinstalled win-keys they must be for same version, you cant easily change form home to professional or back.
So both laptops need to use same version of Windows while Win7/8/10/11 will work all on Win11.

It will work, but you have to register old Win7 key again (if not embedded in bios) and I wont do it, because of lot of wrong drivers from new laptop in your Win-system.

Why dont you just update the old one with Win11. TPM is no limitation for it as most other requirements if you use my how-to-do from an older posting.
I (or more clearly my parents) run Win11 without any troubles on 16 years old XP machine with Intel dual core. Only needs to be x64 and at least 4GB memory. You can do it in your way as well, but needs to be same platform (Intel <> AMD) and it will load many wrong drivers which not needed on older laptop and even may be some risc of conflict.
Short version: run update, when it reclaims open hidden folder in root and replace sources/appraiserres.dll with empty file (open text editor with no content and rename saved file), then rerun update from iso.
