Have solved the issue after a lot of work and swapping of kit and cables. An extremely frustrating process full of false hope as the 4K picture settles then degrades again. Tried every setting under the sun on the router. Jumped technology with the Powerline setup from 1200Mbps AV2 to 2400Mbps G.hn. Tried various new Cat 6 and 7 cables to rule out local interference. Double and triple checked the Draytek settings although tbh there was nothing to change once in bridge mode. Yes it was running latest BT firmware. Then as a last gasp I swapped out the Draytek for a BT HG612 and hey presto, rock solid picture. Looking at the traffic monitor somehow the multicast traffic was doubling and also spiking even higher when using the Draytek.
Are you running 384 firmware for DT 130 and check your pass through mode on Internet Access>MP0A/Static or Dynamic IP> check at bottom Bridge Mode Box is Ticked.
In my router AC86U under LAN>IPTV> Microsoft and Enable multicast routing (IGMP Proxy) Enabled. No other setting used. 4k streaming IPTV Netflix and Prime Video and BT Sports all work fine. (I too had to reuse my old BT OR modem to check which worked.) is you TV Smart and have WiFi to setup… and not use the wifi plugins… also my dratek 130 is on my router for stats… via its own web browser. I have used dsl 68u and dsl 88u, the latter would not work IPTV unless i changed the QOPS and set upload to 18mb/s to get a picture but then WiFi on both channels would not work… also echo alexa would only work on channel 36, but now they find their own channels.. weird right… really like the 68u and the 86u is so much better.

Success, reinstalled latest firmware from draytek UK…. login to 130 and disable Lan Access DHCP go to Internet Access >> MPoA / Static or dynamic IP enable… (Do not use PPPoE Internet Access Page) make sure the Bridge Mode Box at bottom of page is Ticked… click Ok Draytek 130 will reboot, restart PC, turn off router RT-AC86U by power on/off button, reconnect ethernet cable back into into Draytek 130 and switch on RT-AC86U and check your IPTV channels…
When i first loaded the latest firmware to the modem 130 i should of hard reset it, then load firmware again… which has helped… in the RT-AC86U settings in LAN>IPTV >Special Applications> enable Microsoft and enable -Enable multicast routing (IGMP Proxy) then in WAN Settings goto Special Instructions from ISP make sure Enable VPN + DHCP Connection is NOT Enabled…. is Set to No then you have UK IPTV channels without seeing IPC6023 (which you see on your channel on Youview box which is restricting viewing.
Hope this helps anyone else using this combo Draytek 130 and Asus RT-AC86U
Bridge Mode in the Draytek is on Internet Access]> MPoA / Static or dynamic IP
Do Not Use PPPoe internet Access page if your ISP uses PPPoe… in the Draytek 130 settings the Asus RT-AC86U will do all that when you enter User Name and Password from ISP

yes you are correct but the draytek is not doing so… maybe the firmware is different.
For PPPoE there is not VDSL setting just ADSL but have tried and enable it and makes no difference… Plusnet is PPPoe …. not setting for Bridgemode in the page…
Yes the BT OR modem works everything … lol such a old modem… glad i kept it.
the UK version Draytek 130 is a cut down version… compare to European counterparts… hmmm

Sentinel, so far all my asus routers have all different configurations, now to enable IPTV stuff BT Sports are the Channels amongst others… not working either.. it is to do with multicast.
on the RT86U i do not have isp options to put in, so top two not needed. next two options are enabled there is no option for IGMP Snooping as in my other routers… the BT OR modems works fine with the settings available… so i think the Draytek 130 is not showing the same clear picture to view…

If you look under adaptive QoS, > Bandwidth Monitor, you can spy on what sites users are currently visiting
Yes this router is imho a better router than the dsl 88u…

December 2, 2018 at 10:52 pm in reply to: Asus RT-AC86u Just bought one from Amazon for £160.93p #1696Actually it is quite confusing the way they explain it, if your Asus router has a WAN IP that looks like external then your router is in bridge mode, the idea is to prevent the ADSL from doing the NAT (Network Address Translation) and that it serves as a bridge instead of a router. Bridge mode is brainless, in that the router will do no CPU work hence it will be faster, that way it will not be a bottleneck for your RT-AC86U speed if you know what I mean.
understand you much more on that cheers.

December 2, 2018 at 9:20 pm in reply to: Asus RT-AC86u Just bought one from Amazon for £160.93p #1687Now, can you put the DrayTeK in bridge mode? and let the RT-AC86U do everything, you won’t need double firewall with the RT-AC86U, and go and grab your RMerlin firmware https://asuswrt.lostrealm.ca/
modem will be arriving shortly, do you mean the draytek has a firewall built in? i was informed the configuration was auto for the draytek adsl/vdsl… just plug in and away you go, for the ?RMerlin what will it give the router extra…

December 2, 2018 at 8:06 pm in reply to: ASUS – DSL-AC88U / DSL-AC3100 Firmwares (beta's) etc. Looks like a new Beta Release for the DSL-AC88U is available, this version has Telnet enabled and improved 2.4GHz wifi (I believe). DSL-AC88U_v9.10.06_build581_debug.w.zip https://www.asuswebstorage.com/navigate/s/604D61534F2541D1B3CE1CC031A697E4Y UK Sentinel In a completely... #1681Finally ditched the dsl 88u for the rt-ac86U and works great with IPTV BT Sport channels and netflix and prime video and music with cctv and nest thermostat and nest hello with wifi NOT dropping out completely like the dsl 88u issues… like night and day between the two routers.
