Did you only make a reboot (by software) or turn off power for short time on ALL physically connected devices? First might not reset HW completely to remove failure. Do you use some kind of switch or PLC (PowerLine)?
I did the reset via software, which went back to the setup wizard (and then uploaded the config file to restore all my settings). I also turned off the power for a while. I have no Powerline devices in use either.
I doubt I’ll ever know what went wrong. I just hope it doesn’t happen again!

February 12, 2022 at 2:51 pm #17787Handy Tip;
If Anyone is having issues where the signal of the wireless backhaul node randomly drops from 5GHz to 2.4GHz frequency and displays “weak” signal then try disabling universal beamforming on the 5Ghz-2 network band
Worth a try from a stability perspective

That is a real shame, I will let ASUS know your particular set-up and ask them to have a look at stability for future releases ?

February 24, 2022 at 6:50 pm #17942Hi all,
Unfortunately I see others still having problems.
Since I sent mine back and reverted back to.my old Orbi RBK52 I’ve had no issues at all.
Think I’ll stick with that for the time being.
Good luck to the beta testing

March 2, 2022 at 2:27 pm #18022My son uses Game Pass and the Xbox cloud gaming every day, this is on PC and the Xbox Series X. He hasn’t complained about any issues with gaming at all. We used Cloudflare IPv6 without any issues and yesterday changed to Google IPv6 for testing purposes. Teams was fine for me today with Google dns.
