May 25, 2020 at 9:12 am #7599That’s really good, previous day with below 100k FEC errors, 41k now, not getting worse, that is a good sign. Do you still have SRA disabled?

Don’t want to guess too much but could be two stage intervention, one after 3 days to reduce interleave and then further 5-6 day to get fastpath, or fastpath straight away after 5-6 days.

May 25, 2020 at 11:06 am #7613DS Interleave Depth : 1513 will be interesting if/when this changes @Bully – where did you purchase your replacement Master Socket / Faceplate as there are a lot of fakes out there ?
Amazon
?Better then Ebay, hopefully will be Ok as usually better suppliers etc.

May 25, 2020 at 11:36 am #7614May 25, 2020 at 11:38 am #7615Ebay is not that bad, checked history, I bought mine original BT for 8 pounds last year, this was nte5c with mk4 faceplate.

May 25, 2020 at 11:59 am #7616Like most things in life, you purchase from Ebay, second hand items, could be good, probable is, but could also be faulty. Lots of Chinese imports etc. with different standard for Resistors and surge protectors etc.
Amazon, less likely, alas I could not tell a good unit from a copy, so when yours arrives, just make sure it looks like yours and has same values for electrical components inside it, same thickness for wiring and quality of electrical joints etc. etc.
(just my view)

May 25, 2020 at 12:11 pm #7618I don’t think you can get fake ones like BT official from China. Most likely BT engineers sell them, mine was brand new and sealed. However you can buy something equivalent with slightly different shape made by different supplier without BT logo, other than that official BT is made so cheap way that is not worth for China to copy

Have look for this if you want to see what’s inside https://youtu.be/jD67a-ZC7VY

May 25, 2020 at 12:48 pm #7626Wish I had not watched that video, it really is cheaply made, no pcb and no solder fixing the components on to the tin sheets
