I have the same issue and I blame ASUS for not using release 503 as a base for the current betas. The same thing happens for me Under Network Map -> Client Status -> Wireless, my entries all disappear and wireless connections drop for a minute or two and then they will re-appear. This started around about beta 549 ish. I was never sure if it was my devices or the router itself.

I am currently with PlusNet and my password contains a comma at the end and it’s not saved by the router so it’s never able to connect automatically – I have to go into the WAN settings and add a comma at the end and then it works. This has NEVER worked (even 503) – ASUS are aware of it and have a fix for it lined up.

There is no issue with SIP on build 503. The only time I had an issue with SIP was beta 546.

This is a bug in this beta – it’s the AI protection not starting. When memory is 39% used, turn AI protection Off and then On again and memory will go up to 55%. It’s an issue with AI Protection not starting sometime after a reboot. I noticed this a while ago and Asus are aware of this issue and are working on fixing it.

If memory is 39% with AI Protection turned on – then the service isn’t running. If memory is around 55% used, then that’s how you know AI protection is working.

After 4 days:
Beta 527 – AI Protection on – used 234MB, Free 223MB
Beta 527 – AI Protection off – used 178MB, Free 279MB
I have been toggling AI Protection on & off just for the fun of it.

downloaded 168 GB
uploaded 99GB
above is a mixture of downloading ISO from Microsoft, streaming HD video (Sky Go) on my surface and just leave it running all day and qBittorrent – this is great for upload/download connections and throughput

Multiple Wireless devices connecting and disconnecting hourly
minimum 15 devices connected at any one time

memory is stable. Report sent to Asus – 3 more days to go on this beta

I’ve got some Hyper-V servers to spin up and run windows update on :-) That’ll warm the room up.

Thank you will do.  I had AIProtection on at the beginning – turned it off a day ago and memory is at 172MB used. I have plenty more stress testing to do :-)

I have run shields up and I have 2 ports open and the rest are showing as closed. ASUS have asked me to stay with 527 for 7 days. I don’t know, but I think, they may use this build as a base going forward as it doesn’t have the memory leak.
