Hopefully the next iPhone and iPad will fully support 160MHz. Those speeds you are getting are really good though.

Can you log into router via browser and Screen capture the Wireless log, this will show us all connections and data rates etc.
I have done some investigation and if you switch it to 160mhz only instead of 20/40/80/160 my surface 4 then shows 2400/2400 so it allows dual band. Previously even with 20/40/80/160 selected its wont double up its has to be only 160mhz only. I have done a speed test and its gets nearly 900mbps on wifi so problem solved. just a shame not many wireless cards inc apple MacBook Pro are 160mhz enabled. useful to know for anyone else having similar problems on the FTTP 900 and didn’t notice this at all when on the 500/75 package.
I was pretty sure that your issue was that devices were conneting via 80MHz when you had it set up as 20/40/80/160. Baffling how modern PC/mobile devices are still not 160MHz compliant.

The max speed over WiFi I have received on my S23 Ultra is around 650-700mbps. There is always some loss/overhead over WiFi, and yes 80MHz is the max on 5GHZ-1. 160MHz is reserved for the 5GHZ-2.
From what I understand, if you use wired backhaul you may be able to use 5GHz-2 for WiFi. I have not tried this at all.

Looks like ASUS is not only being complacent with their Router/Modem FW, but even worse with Motherboard bios and support. ASUS really need to pull their socks up or will start to suffer:
Content creators on YouTube are ripping into ASUS now, quite rightly too.

Ok, so had to chase ASUS on this, but ASUS have confirmed that during setup with the app there was no option to set password for 5GHz-2.

I agree that 22525 was much more stable than 23012. Found one of the 3 nodes lose show weak connection quality. Simply clicking ‘reboot node’ fixed it. Not sure when that happened or why. Might give it some more time to see if it happens again or may just revert to 22525.

not posted yet but i still downloaded and also did a dirty install. so far no obvious bugs have come up yet. Will observe for now.
I also dirty flashed initially and it all seemed ok too. I then decided to do a full factory reset to see if my issue with 160MHz backhaul was resolved.

Possible bug in the V1 firmware. After setting up with full pin and WPS reset, the 5GHz-2 network is setup as open. During setup with the app there was no option to set password for 5GHz-2. Seems like the 160MHz ‘bug’ is still also present for me.
