Yes indeed, much better now and no problems anymore (like before your changes in the last months).
Only long time after pressing submit, but everything else ok, no jumps while scrolling during page builds up.

If you dont have clients which need access from outside there would nothing to be done, it will work like before.

SFP port doesnt mean that all SFP-modules will work.
The chipset behind is limiting which modules are supported.
E.g. Fritzbox 5690pro can handle only PON/AON-modules and no XGS-PON.So you will have to inform yourself which modules are supported!

What I have read in Germany you will have to register your ONT as well by your vendor, but they have to do so by regulatory.
Fritzbox used in Germany will block change of MAC-address or ID (to the one used on previous ONT), this has been changed with 7.50 firmwares I think.
International versions still allow this change. You need to login in order to vote
No, because usually you cant use fiber-modems in Austria directly and have to take ONT from provider. There are some smaller fiber-networks where it is different (XGS-)PON and AON.
Technically it could work, but they are registred with their ID (not only MAC) and so your own ONT oder modem won’t work.I personally dont see any advantage using fiber-modems, ONT needs only <3W power which fiber modems would take more than a WLAN-router.
ONT is changed by provider if defective, so cheaper as well and more modular. You can use any own router or the one from provider if you have no need for better ones.I can only tell you, that an SFP-module has to be supported by router interface and you cant use the XGS-PON module from AVM on the new 5690pro fiber modem (only simple PON or AON module will work and XGS-PON module will work with comming 5690XGS only).

Dont know any forum where you could reply directly from email – I think this would even be a security risc.
Even the anwser could be edited or deleted in the meantime and so my reply would not cover these changes.Only our local online-bazar (like ebay) has this option, but as said I know this option only from online-marketplace platforms.

The 10s seems to be an exception, maybe my PC used a WLAN from a repeater far away at this moment.
But 5s is all the time after submit. Really long when posting something.

Sorry, dont have any VPN (only between Fritzboxes I support).
Edit: This time (when I pressed submit to post this answer) it has been even 10s till page began to rebuild – now it is back to about 5s.

Yesterday it has been troublesome again, today seems to be better again, dont understand whats going on here.
But all in all it is still much slower than bevor, after clicking submit it takes quite a long time to get the page refreshed (almost 5s).

Interestingly not, or it jumps down only once very fast (<1s), so with Edge there is not this problem.
Maybe because I am not logged in in Edge? But today it is better with FF too, not really solved but much quicker, dont know why.
Seems to be different behavier on different threads.
When I post this answer here it was extremly again, click on submit answer an page is jumping down 3 times, scroll up an goes back to down, after some seconds it stays to where I sroll.
Some tests, go back an forth in browser needs some seconds to change pages (upto 5s), just like some months ago when it has been very slow to build up pages.
