June 12, 2019 at 9:15 pm #3369No I ran it a few times, same ping and only packet loss once. My up stream is now on fast path –

June 13, 2019 at 7:03 am #3371Good news packet loss only once, you SNR is still 3, and Fastpath on Upstream ;-)
Would be good to give it a few more days, just to see if any other improvements happen ?

June 29, 2019 at 7:56 am #3443So no real changes then over the last week or so, you still have improvements on the original download speed, but higher Interleaving.
If you are feeling brave, try increasing SNR to say 6 / 9 and see if you can improve on the interleaving value.
Or maybe see if you can get G.fast, as this is really your only other option for increasing throughput speeds etc.
Screen dump results if you would or PM me them via the contact form on the web site

June 29, 2019 at 9:00 am #3446June 29, 2019 at 10:06 am #3447Shame, looks like you are more then 300Metres from the cabinet, hence no G.fast option.
You do have the option for FTTP-On-Demand which means basically you have Fibre to Home and is expensive , shame really ;-)
Maybe worth call to ISP ? just to find out pricing ?

July 23, 2019 at 6:33 pm #3581My line has gone haywire – these are the stats after I changed from Snr -50 to -25, at -50 my interleave was at 1755.

July 23, 2019 at 8:44 pm #3584What does the “vdsl status more” show ?
Your DS Interleave Depth was 757 – Remind me why this changed ?

July 24, 2019 at 7:35 am #3587Understood, Try to bring the modem back to normal settings for SNR
vdsl snr 50 (see if his work as reducing the SNR has proven troublesome for yourself)
BTW – did Interleaving increase for no reason, or had it been 1755 for while ?

July 24, 2019 at 5:53 pm #3599I think it increased due to errors, Saturday I had on the DS – 130 NE CRC count and Sunday it went upto 60928, with one disconnect.
I have reverted back to default snr value, these are the stats –

July 24, 2019 at 8:30 pm #3603DS – 130 NE ?
So SNR is back to 6dB and your interleaving has dropped slightly but your ‘DS Actual Rate’ has dropped by 4Mb
Does the level of interleaving cause you issues ?
As far as I recall, ECI Cabinets support Fastpath both ways, so only real reason why you are not achieving Fastpath is probably due to the amount of errors you are getting ?
I am now wondering if your errors are at certain times of the day/evening (not sure if we have covered this on my old forum) ?
