Connection speed is 100/60
To prevent CRC errors, I limit the upload speed to 50 Mbps using telnet. When I enter the code with Telnet, everything works exactly the way I want it, but I don’t know the telnet code to store the settings. You need to login in order to vote

I did speed limitation with telnet and I use it like this
bcm_xdslctl configure –maxDataRate 102400 51200 524280
This setting is cleared when restarted. Is there anything I can do to store telnet settings?

I seem to recall (I will check later as out at the moment) that you maybe be able to use an external Wifi/USB bridge or old ASUS Router to plug phone in and then connect to router ?
—————- I am afraid in this case USB Tethering needed which is not supported by this phone model. —————
Had a look and basically, you need to find another cheap RT (ASUS) router say the ASUS RT-AC56U /RT-AC66U and flash that with ASUSWRT-Merlin firmware and then go to LAN settings and changed the IP address so that is not the same as the mobile device, Next connected to hot spot. click on “Setup” and then select Auto-Detect, Most ASUS routers should support Android phones (iPhones are more problematic) , on your DSL-AC88U, try changing the default gateway to that of the mobile device and see if this helps for Internet access and of course make sure the DSL-AC88U and Phone do not use the same IP address. I don’t have many options to make settings

I can’t activate my phone as a usb modem. It doesn’t trigger the Internet.
Did you own an ASUS router before, and if so did the USB modem option work with your phone? What model phone is it? Update: I contacted ASUS and they say – Indeed supported, however, only limited models. What’s the make and model of target USB modem/phone ?
I have never used an asus modem before. Mobile phone is android operating system. Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. It recognizes the phone as USB Ethernet but does not use the internet. While doing this experiment, DSL sometimes stops working on the Internet.
