Paying off the mortgage just removes that financial burden which is really good if your in a job you no longer enjoy, you can ‘more easily’ switch.

Hard to say with so many unknowns. Five years of support is already pushing it these days, and many manufacturers donβt reliably offer that length of support across all their products.

Nothing obvious in logs and will be interesting when you view the forum not logged in tomorrow to see if the Like and Dislike icons are visible .

Yes I believe the HomeyLink lets you link multiple Homey Pros so you can see and control both homes from one interface. That part works well and is rather cool.
Each Homey Pro could be tied to a single Homey account so you could share the Homey account between both devices and the Homey app will allow access to both devices ‘in theory’.
But you do have to pay for 2x Homey Pros which is rather expensive,Β using the app does keep it simple and relatively secure

Big question and one I had to deal with a while ago, I opted to pay off my mortgage and have not regretted the decision ever since.
Since then my strategy shifted from “protection” to “lifestyle and legacy.”

. kev2021 Said:Homey pro 2026 is Β£399, previous version is Β£349 I believe and you can access remotely, I believe it sets all that up out the box but then Iβve also seen might need port forwarding enabled so not 100% sure yet. Considering later in the year when might be some discounts fingers crossed.
