    UPnP and NAT-ing could/would be effected and OPEN NAT is something an console gamer wants ;-)

    Previous 15 minutes time = 15 min 0 sec

    This is your problem, 159 FEC errors within 15 mins are normal, nearly 7k not. Is only two minutes but you getting big burst of errors.

    Did you try to disconnect telephone for couple of hours to see if that improve your stats?

    @Bully – when you have time, can you check whether Bitswap is still enabled in both direction ?

    Good point

    I was wondering if it was worth disabling Bitswap to see if errors reduce as bitswap without monitored tones can be problematic ?

    Alas I do not know if the HG612 Broadcom chipset supports monitored tones etc ?

    Can you produce again the Graph with FEC over 24 hours ( I think you did this previously) but could be wrong as this should help understand if FEC are consistent, or at certain times of the day ?

    I’m afraid don’t agree, 2k errors compared to 7k for full 15 mins.

    @Bully
    have you got FEC errors graph for that 1.5 h where phone was disconnected? Did you had dsl stats program running in this time?

    On the 3rd May:

    Previous 15 minutes time = 15 min 0 sec
    FEC: 866 0

    I was going to edit but you was faster, I was goingto to add unless these values was recorded in smaller burst 😉

    In this case the only way to reduce amount of errors will be put cap on the lime but:

    a) if noise on the line is too bad it may not improve enough

    b) if improve @Bully may not be able to remove cap completely because as soon he remove his line will be interleaved again.
