First time my connection has gone 10 days without issues. From what I can tell it remained on 5GHZ mesh, channel 100 and bandwidth 160, throughout the 10 days.

The £350 is not as great as one might think.
You only get the £150 as council tax rebate (discount).
£200 is given as a ‘credit’ to your energy bill which is then recouped over the next 5 years at £40 per year.
This is recouped regardless of whether you benefitted from the £200 in the first place. For example from young people who become new homeowners or renters for the first time will pay the extra £40 per year from April 2023.
I deal with energy in a commercial property company I work for. This is essentially like a levy that you have to pay whether you benefitted or not. It is a scam by the UK government.

I stopped using the Asus QoS, it is completely disabled for me. Only things I manually set up are as follows:
- Set WAN DNS to 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1
- Turn on IPV6 to Passthrough and Cloudflare – Server 1 = 2606:4700:4700::1111 & Server 2 = 2606:4700:4700::1001
My Surface Pro from work looks like comes built with Zscaler installed (I think it is a VPN). Not had any major Teams issue on 46061. Last time I could say that after 42095 was a beta from Asus.

The only way to try and ‘avoid’ scalper prices currently is pre-built. GPU’s are extortionately priced and will take time to come down again. Stick with what you have if possible otherwise look at RTX3050 at msrp.

Got next day delivery and it got delivered in the morning.
There are actually 2 case fans. 1 x 120mm (I think that is the size) in the front and 1 x 80mm at the back.
On first start-up all the the fans are quite audible. After entering windows they are whisper quiet on idle.
Nearly damaged the front hot-swappable SSD trays. I never knew there are different sized SSD’s?
I had 2 SSD’s and the first one would not fit. Tried to jam it in and nearly damaged the SSD and the hot-swappable tray. It was near impossible to get the SSD back out. Had to use a pliers to remove.
I then tried the other SSD and it just fitted in perfectly. Lesson learnt……

.Hopefully the ‘protocol 0000 is buggy, dev archer’ error was a one off and doesn’t happen again.
