You could safe your actual config, make a factory reset without any changes and safe config again.
Then make the update and again safe config.
Now you got 2 clean configs safed before and after update and may compare them to know, what really has changed.
So you might be able to adapt your actual config to the neccessary default changes. Not really less work, but you got much time to adapt step by step.

Too many APs are bad for your home network and WiFi connectivity.
You should set an additional different SSID on your repeaters instead of an overkill extra AP, so you can connect your laptop in this room to a dedicated AP.You need to login in order to vote
June 15, 2025 at 9:33 pm in reply to: many Asus routers compromised Here more infos about this serious backdoor, which can only be removed with newest (patched) firmware and factory-reset, as it is written into NVRAM. https://www.greynoise.io/blog/stealthy-backdoor-campaign-affecting-asus-routers This topic was modified 1... #38014I got this one some months ago, but still had no need to use it beside some initial functionality test, so I cant tell much more about it other than its much much cheaper.

They are necessary to have full mesh functionality even if LAN-backhaul fails, then it automatically will switch to WLAN-backhaul.

Can only say, that your result isn’t correct for Austria (household).
They must be recalibrated every 5 years and so they are changed with no extension and the period 4-20 is wrong for household.
Maybe it includes all kinds and industry is done differently upto 20 years with extension period. And we cant opt for a special meter, you have to take what the provider for your region will bring (there are many types possible even from one provider maybe more possibilities).
Thats making automatically reading (LED-interface) much more complicated for interested customers, as they may need different readers and you dont know what you will get before and may change in 5 years. You need to login in order to vote
Interesting to see the very different ways how such things are handled in other countries.

Temperature is irrelevant, only the angle of sun light to the solar cells counts.

Here (in Austria) meters (electricity and) have to be calibrated every 5 years.
So they have to be changed anyway within its battery life.Isn’t calibration needed in UK the same way?
