    Yes, I’m on eci, and bitswap are “On”, booth direction as per above post.

    I notice that on my vigor 2760 (also old eci modem) after reboot bitswap are not on immediately, usualy upstream within an hour downstream up to 3 hours.

    When I used modem with broadcom chipset bitswap was on immediately after reboot.

    Well I was using Merlin 384.13 since I bought my rt-ax88u, but there was something wrong with later builds (could be related to messed up with WiFi driver). I only installed the latest asus to check if there is a progress with WiFi, and looks like it is. Is very similar to build I used recently. On top of everything after dirty flash it’s still all good so just waiting for Merlin fw of this version 😉

    Ok, today I managed to flash latest asus fw over Merlin 384.13, and is really nice and smooth. I didn’t changed even single settings, pure dirty flash and all working great. Didn’t tested on games online but so far so good. For me it looks like issue with WiFi was fixed on this fw. Soon all my family will start using internet so that will be a good test for it 😜

    Could you ask Asus if there was any changes to wifi driver, or do they planing to add to futures updates.

    New FW from asus 3.0.0.4.384.8018, anyone tested? I may try around weekend, working from home so can’t really disturb connection right now.

    Still nothing changed yet, according to plusnet forum some exercises are expected to take place in next week. I also didn’t heard back from my isp (EE) so just waiting game at the moment.

    No suprise on that, G.fast on hold in UK so wonder if 166 will be out at all. BT keep changing mind every quarter.

    I spoke with ee (my isp) good week ago and they wasn’t aware of trial, at least people who answer on ee community forum. However they asked me for my details and they told me if ee will be in trial they will try to put me in. I will ask them again for update, obviously March already and twelve is in next week. 😉

    Just to update, on modem code 574307 everything nice and smooth, snr still on 6db, speed nice and stable.

    Yes, I was on 576D17 (was chosen by default option), but I realised that on downstream snr go below 6db after three days, what didn’t happened on old eci modem so decided to use 574307 (sync couple bytes slower) and will see how this one will perform. I also read that 574307 perform better for g.inp, which may be the case for you if (ever) you decide to back to vigor.

    We have all been there, I had the DrayTeK 130 in for ages and G.inp would not kick in, I finally plugged in my Fritz!Box 3490 and two days later G.inp was working. for me it appears that most DSL chipsets keeps FastPath/G.inp enabled, but only certain ones are suitable to re-enable a service and/or the firmware also ? DrayTek 130 = Lantiq (VR9) Fritz!Box 3490 = Lantiq (VRX288) https://openwrt.org/docs/techref/hardware/soc/soc.lantiq

    Was thinking about this, that vigor don’t want to enable g.inp, do you know which modem code was used (there is two to choose), if you set default, modem could use one which is not suitable for g.inp.

    Only for PSD, and for some reason on “vdsl status” mobile telnet glitch because missing vendor chipset info which is IFTN (putty on pc/laptop show this correct, but that is not a problem). Also in draytek UI show only round values (apart of PSD values).

    Hey @Uk Sentinel,

    I was playing with vigor a little bit and wonder if this is something similar to pbParams on broadcom modems:

    DrayTek> vdsl status bandinfo
    ———————- ATU-R Info (hw: annex A, f/w: annex A/B/C) ———–
    [ BAND INFORMATION ]
    US:
    Band=0, LATN=   0, SATN=   0, SNR=   6, Border=[   9-  31], Limits=[   6-  31]
    Band=1, LATN=  14, SATN=  13, SNR=   7, Border=[ 882-1193], Limits=[ 882-1193]
    Band=2, LATN=  21, SATN=  21, SNR=   6, Border=[1984-2770], Limits=[1984-2770]

    DS:
    Band=0, LATN=   7, SATN=   7, SNR=   6, Border=[  33- 857], Limits=[  33- 857]
    Band=1, LATN=  16, SATN=  16, SNR=   6, Border=[1218-1959], Limits=[1218-1959]
    Band=2, LATN=  27, SATN=  27, SNR=   5, Border=[2795-4083], Limits=[2795-4083].

    Looks like is a bit more details?

    Also was wondering why my vigor don’t show decimal values just full, I mean snr 6.2db and just show 6 db. I’m pretty sure I see some screenshots on internet from different vigor modems and they show decimal values.
