Never mention TM.. in snb and we dont ask!
You dont have to reboot or factory, but then you wouldnt know if it works or not.
Only reboot and/or factory will load defaults from cfe and then you’ll see if is 0 or still 1.
Yes, you may combine commands with && for single line. Dont know more you have to read in Linux/Unix world what it means exactly, there are other possibilities too like ‘;’ AFAIK, one will wait for previous to be completed others somehow different, really I dont know, but ‘&&’ will work.
My PS is for @UK-Sentinel and has been the output of this forum here, I wrote really much text with some more tweaks.
After enter they were gone and I got this error message.
Nothing to do with the router!
Some more for region free (only use channels allowed in your country) in single line
nvram set asuscfe0:ccode=#a;nvram set asuscfe1:ccode=#a;nvram set asuscfe0:regrev=0;nvram set asuscfe1:regrev=0;nvram set asuscfecommit=1
nvram set asuscfe0:ccode=#a
nvram set asuscfe1:ccode=#a
nvram set asuscfe0:regrev=0
nvram set asuscfe1:regrev=0
nvram set asuscfecommit=1OC to 1000MHz or 1200MHz CPU and 666 or 800 RAM
nvram set asuscfeclkfreq=1000,666 && nvram set asuscfecommit=1
nvram set asuscfeclkfreq=1200,800 && nvram set asuscfecommit=1
1000 is quite safe, 1200 will work on most routers while 1400 will brick most 68U

Before OC in cfe you have to test in NVRAM, so you can reset and load working values from cfe.
Once they are too high in cfe you need a new router! Advantage to do in cfe, they will stay forever and dont revert back every some hours.

try SSH to router and enter these commands:
nvram set asuscfeATEMODE=0
nvram set asuscfecommit=1Then reboot and factory reset to see if it’s ok.
PS: First answer with some more possibilities (OC and region-free) with lot of text got error message?!?
text lost and in red showing:
ERROR: Are you sure you wanted to do that?

But even 7490 and 7590 seems to become international, all 7.19 (beta) firmwares can be used on german and international routers with language and timezone support.
Dont know differences of chips, you have to ask Broadcom.
But it cant be an old chip, otherwise there wont be a G.fast support on router.

the new DSL-AC68U firmware supports ethernet backhaul for AiMesh
Which LAN port should be used on the DSL-AC68U when setup as aimesh node?
Is there anything to be set before it will connects as aimesh-child?
Someone else who can commit this working?

If you want to try it for less money I got a 7582 with defective DSL-chip but working (tested) perfect on G.fast line. There is a different chip for G.fast switched by a relay, thats why its only usable for latter and fails only on simple DSL.

You’ve been told more than once in snb forum the home of Merlin. No need to ask anywhere else, you can write your own fork but nobody in the world would do it for your convenience.
Even you asked before buying and despite our answers you bought this modemrouter – hard to help.
Here you get no fork of any firmware, only maybe beta versions of Asus.
And good advise how you can use our modem and router in UK with much knowledge about ISPs in UK and special needs for them.
